Professional Development Update — Advancing My Skills in Fascial Counterstrain

To continue providing the most precise and effective hands-on care, I recently completed two advanced workshops in the Fascial Counterstrain (FCS) system:

  • Advanced Techniques for the Autonomic Nervous System — focusing on gentle methods that help calm the body’s stress responses and restore balance to the nerves that control vital functions such as circulation and digestion. These techniques can be particularly helpful for people dealing with chronic pain, fatigue, or tension related to stress.

  • Fascial Counterstrain for Adipose Tissue (FCS-ADP) — developed by Brian Tuckey, this course explores how restrictions in the body’s connective and fat tissues can affect blood flow and movement. By addressing these subtle layers, we can improve comfort, mobility, and overall tissue health throughout the body.

These trainings further enhance my ability to treat the body as an interconnected system — ensuring each session targets the root cause of dysfunction, not just the symptoms.
