Medicare Rebate Increased to $63.40

We are pleased to let our patients know that the Medicare rebate for eligible physiotherapy services under a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan has increased to $63.40 per appointment.

This program is commonly known as a CDM plan and was previously called an EPC plan. Patients with eligible long-term health conditions, including chronic pain, may be referred by their GP for Medicare-supported physiotherapy treatment.

At Fascial Release Clinic, we remain committed to providing thorough, individualised and hands-on Fascial Counterstrain treatment. FRC is not a bulk-billing clinic, so patients are required to pay the consultation fee and claim the applicable Medicare rebate.

Consultation Fees After the Medicare Rebate

30-minute hands-on treatment

  • Consultation fee: $120

  • Medicare rebate: $63.40

  • Out-of-pocket cost: $56.60

60-minute hands-on treatment

  • Consultation fee: $220

  • Medicare rebate: $63.40

  • Out-of-pocket cost: $156.60

We understand that the rising cost of living is affecting many families. While maintaining the time, attention and quality of care provided during each appointment, we will continue doing our best to help patients receive the greatest possible benefit from their treatment.

Eligibility for the Medicare rebate is determined by your GP, and a valid referral is required. Please speak with your GP to find out whether a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan may be appropriate for you.

Update — May 2026

I am grateful to share that Fascial Release Clinic has been included as a suggested allied health physiotherapy provider under the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association Australia website.

Patients and visitors can find the listing through the TNA Australia website under Links → Medical Professionals, where my Adelaide physiotherapy service is listed for those seeking allied health support.

This is a meaningful opportunity, and I am thankful for the trust and recognition. Trigeminal neuralgia and facial pain conditions can be complex and challenging, and my aim is to provide careful, gentle, patient-focused physiotherapy care using hands-on assessment and treatment, including Fascial Counterstrain and musculoskeletal approaches.

Appointments remain open for new and existing patients. If you are living with ongoing pain, tension, stiffness, or movement restriction, you are welcome to book a consultation to discuss whether this approach may be suitable for you.
